Daily Dog Pose- the Excited Dog pose!
Scout shows us above how to do the pose doggie style or the dog version of it. Of course our dogs do it naturally and it just come to them. But if we’re smart we will try to emulate our dog and be naturally happy and healthy. In the three photos you will see Scout twist and stretching out his sides- ribs, abs, etc- a nice stretch. then in the lower right photo you’ll see him wagging his tail. Or part of his wag!, in between we just add a leg lift.

So for our pose we are down on all fours, and we will twist to one side at a time- we should be able to twist and see our foot behind us. You’ll bring your shoulder back slightly as you look behind to get a good stretch! Hold the stretch for 20-30 seconds and then come back to all fours looking straight ahead and do a simple leg lift with your leg held straight out (or as much as your can straighten it!) Before coming back to all fours, wag your “tail” or leg behind you and get excited to be working out alongside your dog(s). Now, come back to all fours and repeat on the other side!
